High School Academic Reading and Writing Pathway

6-Month Program | Twice Weekly

The High School Academic Reading and Writing Pathway at ESL with Audra is a structured six-month English program designed for globally minded high school students who are ready to strengthen both fluency and intellectual voice.

We focus on intentional communication development.

Meeting twice weekly, students explore meaningful themes — identity, culture, global responsibility, media literacy, argument, and leadership — while developing structured writing skills, confident speaking habits, and critical thinking ability.

The program is offered at three levels:

  • Beginner — Foundational Communication & Sentence Control

  • Intermediate — Fluency, Structure & Discussion Leadership

  • Advanced — Academic Writing, Rhetoric & Persuasive Voice

Across all levels, students learn to:

  • Speak clearly and confidently

  • Organize thoughts into structured paragraphs and essays

  • Participate in thoughtful discussions

  • Build and defend opinions respectfully

  • Present ideas with composure and clarity

At ESL with Audra, the focus is clarity, confidence, and growth.

By the end of the six-month program, students deliver a final presentation that reflects both their linguistic development and their emerging leadership voice.
